AT A GLANCE
Hope is Where the Heart is
We help you, help others! We are a group of hard-working, philanthropic teens determined to make an impact in our local community (Westchester County, NY). We work with local charities and shelters to understand their needs and to connect them with our community's desire to give back.
The core of our efforts is to bring our team’s fresh ideas and passion to the range of activities we’re involved in. Through all of our endeavors we hope to display the conviction behind our beliefs.

"Everybody can be great. Because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve…. You don’t have to know the second theory of thermodynamics in physics to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.”
Martin Luther King, Jr
Rowan Haffner, Cyrus Toosi, and Luca Dowdall are currently sophomores at Scarsdale High School. They have been friends ever since they were just seven years old. While they all play different sports and enjoy different subjects in school they all have a shared passion for volunteering and giving back to our community. They know sometimes it's hard to volunteer, but they wanted to give everyone the chance to make an impact in our community which prompted them to create Heart for Philanthropy.
